Initiatives & Other Programming

Forensic Criminal Justice Training:

In partnership with the MHAI Stanley W. DeKemper Training Institute, PACE offers forensic criminal justice training to support Peer Recovery Coaches in gaining specialized skills required to work with the justice-involved population. This is a 2-day, 15- hour training covering criminogenic thinking, evidence based tools such as motivational interviewing, relationships with criminal justice agencies, and barriers to successful re-entry. Those who are interested in receiving this training should email Executive Director Rhiannon Edwards at redwards@paceindy.org.

Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT):

Moral reconation therapy, or MRT, is a cognitive-behavioral treatment system that leads to enhanced moral reasoning, better decision making, and more appropriate behavior to reduce recidivism. PACE is a certified MRT provider, offering both men-only and women-only virtual MRT classes each week at no cost to the client. If you wish to enroll in MRT programming or have been ordered to do so by the court system, please contact Office Manager Claire Lash at clash@paceindy.org.
